bitFlyer, BOBG PTE team up for token listings in Japan

Crypto asset trading company bitFlyer Holdings and Singapore-based crypto firm BOBG PTE. have formed a business alliance aimed at listing a wide range of tokens and developing blockchain projects in Japan.

The partnership was announced on October 21. bitFlyer said it saw the expansion of the autonomous decentralized economic sphere centered on crypto assets as the “core of Web3.”

bitFlyer’s crypto asset exchange has announced its entry into the IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) business, which would involve raising funds by issuing tokens, in compliance with the rules of the Japan Crypto Asset Exchange Association, a self-regulatory organization.

According to the two companies, a crypto exchange will be essential for increasing the number of investors and spreading the use of tokens in Japan. Under their plan, bitFlyer will list tokens from blockchain projects that it helps issue in Japan. The two companies will also consider various measures to achieve growth.

BOBG was launched in 2021 by members who developed and managed the popular blockchain game “My Crypto Heroes.” With the aim of supporting the global expansion of blockchain projects originating in Japan, the company is involved in a wide range of businesses from token issuance, operation and management to listing on crypto asset exchanges.
