CryptoNinja Partners’ new collection ‘CNP Toys’ to land in LINE NFT marketplace

A new NFT collection under the popular CryptoNinja Partners (CNP) project will be launched on LINE’s NFT marketplace starting January 21, its Japan-based distributor Bucket announced.
The new collection, called “CNP Toys,” will go on sale at noon on February 21. Its first batch will feature three characters: “Li Li” the panda, “Mitama” the ghost, and “Orochi” the white snake. The sales period will last until February 22.
Items in the new series can be transacted after the sale period is over. The second batch has been scheduled for release on February 22.
CNP is an NFT project derived from “CryptoNinja,” a ninja-themed character IP (intellectual property) created by investor Hayato Ikeda, known by his nickname “Ikehaya.” Recently, in collaboration with local governments around the country, the “Furusato CNP” project has begun to offer CNP’s NFT art as a tax return gift for taxpayers in their hometowns.
The total amount of CNP in circulation is currently 7,500 ETH (equivalent to US$11 million), with a market capitalization of over 62,000 ETH. Unlike the CNP collection which requires buyers to pay with Ethereum, CNP Toys allows payment to be made in Japanese yen on LINE’s NFT marketplace in order to “let more people know and feel familiar with the CNP character.”
